  "projectDescription": "The Kenai Watershed Forum replaced a failing bridge deck over Stariski Creek on Tall Tree Avenue that was causing damage to the immediate stream habitat.  In addition to being a safety hazard, road material was washing directly into Chinook salmon spawning grounds.  The deteriorated deck of the Tall Tree Bridge was successfully replaced by a new concrete deck in 2011 - removing this sediment source and stabilizing the banks restored the habitat in the immediate vicinity of the bridge.",
