"projectDescription": "This project restored hydrologic connectivity and improved habitat quality in the Fivemile and Bell Creeks, which provide important spawning and rearing habitat for ESA listed coho salmon. The habitat has been improved by removing man-made levees to reconnect seven acres of floodplain wetlands, re-meandering the stream, creating pools, adding large wood, and decommissioning roads. Five acres of riparian habitat adjacent to the stream was restored by regrading and replanting native vegetation.",
