  "projectDescription": "This project worked with over 40 conservation organizations on six different islands throughout the State of Hawaii to organize a wide variety of natural resource restoration projects for youth conservation corps team members to participate in during a six week summer program in 2013.  Typical projects included trail building and maintenance, erosion control, invasive species control, out-planting of native species, native species monitoring, stream restoration, building lo’i kalo, fence building and many other natural resource projects that create a healthier environment. 10.73 acres were restored through these conservation effort.",
