  "projectDescription": "This project helped to reduce silt loads during heavy storm runoff periods down the Napili watershed by restoring the flora of approximately 650 feet of the 'Napili Kahawai' ephemeral stream at its seaward end.  The project cleared out debris in the channel, tagged and removed woody plants in the streambed, and replaced them using volunteers with native stream plants to prevent further erosion.  0.75 acres were restored.",
