  "projectDescription": "This project restored a portion of Mt. Scott Creek by placing large woody debris into the stream channel to create habitat for juvenile and adult salmon and steelhead.  In addition, the project addressed an extremely incised stream channel by creating a 3:1 slope ratio and replanting the banks with native wetland and riparian vegetation. Invasive blackberry bushes were destroyed along 1800 feet of streambank, followed with placement of erosion control matting, grass seed and straw over the cleared areas.",
