  "projectDescription": "As part of a larger effort to reverse coastal wetland habitat loss and removal of invasive species adjacent to the Indian River Lagoon (IRL), MRC will educate local residents and supervise them in hands-on shoreline restoration activities.  Activities will include invasive species removal and planting native species such as mangroves.  The target area for this project is the IRL with special emphasis on the Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge and 46 acres of adjacent public conservation lands known as Bonair Beach.  These lands make up a 2000 acre greenway encompassing over seven miles of barrier island with continuous IRL shoreline.",
