"projectDescription": "Redwood Creek is a tributary of the Noyo River, within the Upper Noyo River watershed which is located within the Noyo River Hydrologic Sub-Area. This creek can be accessed off Irmulco Road, west of Willits, CA. The lack of large woody debris (LWD) in the stream channel has affected the quality and quantity of salmonid habitat within Redwood Creek by reducing the amount of large channel forming features and the loss of complex cover for salmonids. A total of 48 LWD sites were implemented, using 82 pieces of LWD over 1.8 miles of stream. In addition to improving the quality and quantity of salmonid habitat on Redwood Creek, this project has provided the landowners of the Noyo River basin a demonstration project to view the benefits of a partnership with agencies for the goal of restoring salmonid habitat.",
