"projectDescription": "The proposed project initially was to provide an invert slip to one of the culverts at a pedestrian crossing over this portion of Sligo Creek. During planning, a significant rain/flood event undermined the culverts and pathway above, resulting in the opportunity to replace the culvert structures with a pedestran footbridge. Additionally, areas upstream were cleaned out of sediment that was keeping coldwater baseflow from goin gin the desired streamchannel. 500 Feet of stream channel was opened for upstream access, but multiple instream habitat enhancements were made via the culvert removal and riffle/pool habitat restored.",
