  "projectDescription": "This project will restore a historical tidal lagoon by creating a bridge under the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad causeway, in Tacoma, Washington.   Initial Restoration Center investments completed preliminary designs in coordination with the railroad.  As part of this work, a habitat enhancement on the adjacent beach shoreline was designed, and construction was completed in 2017 with state and EPA funding.  This effort is port of a portfolio of actions that are restoring habitat along the BNSF Railroad grade in Puget Sound.",
