The Wells Reserve and its partners restored the approximately 75-acre Drakes Island Marsh by improving tidal flow, managing stormwater runoff from nearby development, and controlling the spread of invasive species by installing a 5-foot culvert and self-regulating tide gate to replace the site's existing 36-inch, failing culvert.",
