  "projectDescription": "Tampa Bay Watch works with local schools and community volunteers to grow salt marsh grasses in on-campus nurseries and transplant the grasses to restoration sites. This program restored 2.5 acres of salt marsh on Tarpon Key, a mangrove island near the mouth of Tampa Bay. 55 Pinellas County students transplanted 4,000 school-grown saltmarsh units to an eroding shoreline area along the western face of the sanctuary. This was followed by a second planting of an additional 5,000 plants two years later.",
