  "projectDescription": "The Grays River Whole Watershed Restoration Initiative developed conceptual designs for restoration at 3 privately-owned sites.  The projects were designed to increase stream complexity, enhance floodplain connectivity and restore habitat connectivity to benefit threatened Chinook, coho, and chum salmon.  Once the projects were implemented, 30 acres of habitat were restored. Local students participated in three weeks of environmental education and pre-project monitoring activities at the sites during the summer of 2010.",
