  "projectDescription": "This project modified lock operations at the Claiborne and Millers Ferry Lock and Dams and measure the effectiveness these changes had at improving the passage of diadromous and migratory fish. Water pumps were installed inside the navigation locks to provide attraction flows for fish, along with the opening and closing of the lock gates to allow fish the opportunity to swim through and past the dams on their upstream and downstream journeys. To measure the effectiveness, a subset of fish were tagged with transmitters to allow researchers to track their movements.",
