"projectDescription": "The project will result in the opening of a tidal cut along the northeast reaches of the causeway to allow for better exchange between Perico Bayou and Palma Sola Bay. Nuisance and exotic vegetation will be removed along a berm adjacent to the ditch which runs in a general east-west direction which ties into the cut. Australian pine dominate this berm. The berm will function as a trail system. Nuisance/exotic control will also be undertaken along the most southwest area of the causeway on both the north and south sides of SR 64. The planting of native vegetation will occur subsequent to exotic removal.",
