  "projectDescription": "This project, in cooperation with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the University of Maryland Horn Point Laboratory, involved area residents and elementary through high school students in a long-term habitat restoration project that supported local fisheries, improve water quality, and restore Bay heritage to the region.  Restoration activities included the planting of underwater grass plants in the Patuxent River watershed through the DNR's Bay Grasses in Classes program, seeding a sanctuary reef with oysters, and planting the seeds for a long-term oyster restoration project in southern Maryland.",
