  "projectDescription": "In October 2010, construction crews began work to restore 1,000 linear feet of Beaver Creek, a historic native brook trout stream in the Shenandoah Valley that had been damaged by cattle grazing and runoff from adjacent unvegetated slopes.   When the stream channel was repaired, floodplain reconnected, and equipment removed, a cattle exclusion fence was installed.  In Spring 2011, the site was planted by Trout Unlimited volunteers.  NRCS, VDGIF, and TU plan to use the site for demonstration purposes.",
