  "projectDescription": "The goal of this project is to re-establish the hydrologic regime by excavating excessive sediment and planting vegetation to improve water quality and enhance the aquatic habitat along this historic river. 1 acre of estuarine and freshwater marsh will be restored. This is one part of the larger project which has restored 3.85 total acres of tidal estuary in the Oleta river systems. This includes the shoreline planting and exotic removal from the NACO portion as well as reconnecting the river tot Biscayne Bay and the creation of several tidal creeks to increase surface water and estuary wetland and habitat.",
