  "projectDescription": "The Tarboo Creek Stream and Wetland Restoration project will improve spawning and rearing habitat in an important perennial spring fed tributary of Tarbook Creek by improving channel conditions and restoring riparian areas and wetland floodplains.   North Creek, a ditched tributary of Tarboo Creek, will be re-meandered and reconnected to the floodplain to restore 500 feet of low gradient stream habitat and 5 acres of riparian and wetland habitat.  The project will benefit steelhead, chum and coho salmon. In addition, over 200 volunteers will be involved in replanting the riparian area and wetlands at the project site with 3,000 native plants as part of Northwest Watershed Institute's Plant-A-Thon.",
