  "projectDescription": "The Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Wildfowl Trust of North America restored intertidal wetlands and beach strand for estuarine species using \"critter\" friendly techniques. This project, which included bulkhead removal, oyster habitat creation, and shoreline erosion control, was supported by NOAA Fisheries, Restore America's Estuaries, and the Chesapeake Bay Small Watersheds Grant Program. The project site was further expanded by the addition of 132 reefballs and 1/4 acre of additional shelled bottom. NOAA's Restoration Center staff was involved in site surveying, permitting, placement and monitoring activities.",
