The project included the partial removal and re-grading of the existing failing wooden bulkhead and creating a fringe marsh with natural slope interface to the tidal shore. The project included planting underwater grasses, salt marsh grasses, removing large perennial grass, restoring the fish passage channel and supplementing beach sand for terrapin habitat.",
