  "projectDescription": "Funded through a partnership between NOAA's Restoration Center and Restore America's Estuaries, the New York/New Jersey Baykeeper was awarded funding for restoration projects impacting NOAA Trust Resources. The Baykeeper's office developed a comprehensive and highly effective oyster gardening campaign along the coast of New Jersey in which local communities, businesses, and civic associations cared for seed oysters to adulthood, when they were placed on the reef. This project constructed a second oyster bed in the Hudson-Raritan Estuary in Keyport Harbor while generating public awareness of the ecological and economic value of oyster reefs.",
