  "projectDescription": "Trout Unlimited, in partnership with the NOAA Restoration Center, is implementing a sediment and erosion control project on Mckenzie Creek, Sonoma County, CA to enhance fisheries habitat for endangered salmonids.  NOAA Open Rivers Initiative and Community Based Restoration funds will be used to upgrade roads and reduce sediment for the benefit of endangered and threatened Gualala River salmonids. Guided by input from TU, NOAA,CDFG and Timothy Osmer representing the landowners, this project will continue restoration work conducted by the landowners and others in the watershed for native salmonid recovery.",
