  "projectDescription": "This project developed a set of metrics based on the estuarine fish community that can be used by resource managers to assess the quality of fish habitat in a given tidal tributary.  Through a multi-partner effort the quality of fish habitat was evaluated relative to several reference sites and land use types.  With this information resource managers will be able to estimate relative habitat quality at a site, help to prioritize multiple sites, and also use this information to measure the success of wetland habitat restoration projects.  A database has been created of fish community metrics.  This project advances the understanding of fish habitat.",
