This project at the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort involved the removal of a deteriorated steel bulkhead and discarded debris. Three stone sills were constructed to stabilize the eroding marsh shoreline. Students and volunteers planted smooth cordgrass and saltmeadow cordgrass in three restoration areas.",
