The Maryland event was held at the Jug Bay component of the Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in Maryland and the Virginia event was held at the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Rice Center in Charles City, VA.  Activities by volunteers included marsh and seagrass plantings, invasive species removal, and atlantic sturgeon release.",
