  "projectDescription": "In 2004 as part of an earlier project (database ID 1148), the tide gate at Mill Pond was opened to restore approximately 30 acres of upstream salt marsh and pond habitat by reestablishing tidal flow to previously restricted portions of the system.  However, a concrete weir in the culvert restricts flows at low tide.  This project designed and installed an additional tide gate that allows close to double of the amount of upstream tidal water flushing.",
