  "projectDescription": "Approximately 18.6 acres of Spartina alterniflora and Spartina patens were planted on a 130-acre marsh platform on East Timbalier Island to restore areas of marsh that were previously oiled by the 1997 release of approximately 275,562 gallons of crude oil from a pipeline rupture in Lake Barre.  Due to the spill, extensive areas of marsh were oiled, shrimp and small fish were killed, and oyster harvesting in the spill area was closed for 74 days.",
