  "projectDescription": "This project, the Tampa Bay Stewardship Initiative, conducted environmental restoration and education through the 'Hands On Tampa Bay', a program of Tampa Bay Watch.   Through a combination of field trips, teacher curriculum workshops, and summer camps this project implemented a variety of activities.  More than 3,000 students and 750 teachers/aides were educated about the importance of and the issues facing the Tampa Bay ecosystem.  Students and campers helped to replant approximately 1 acre of saltmarsh at Ft. De Soto Park and Cunningham Key.  In addition, volunteers and program participants also constructed and installed 75 concrete oyster domes along Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa and more than 200 ft. of oyster bar  along Whale Island in Pinellas County.",
