  "projectDescription": "This project restored 11 acres of salt marsh habitat and re-establish approximately 5300 meters of tidal channels available to salmonids for forage, cover, rearing, and migration. Five derelict buildings and over 48,000 cubic yards of material were removed from the site to allow tidal flow back onto the former estuarine habitat. The Salmon/Snow estuary and lower watersheds were identified as a high priority for habitat restoration in support of the threatened Hood Canal summer chum salmon population.",
