  "projectDescription": "This project restored normal tidal hydrology to seven acres of salt marsh by replacing a failing undersized culvert with a properly-sized box culvert. Prior to this restoration project, a failing 15-inch culvert conveyed Little Namskaket Creek beneath Skaket Beach Road and into the degraded upstream salt marsh. This project replaced that culvert with a new, 4-foot by 5-foot box culvert fitted with a mechanism to protect low-lying property from the highest of the high tides.",
