  "projectDescription": "This project restored approximately 300 feet of severely eroded shoreline on Almshouse Creek, a tributary of the South River in Maryland.  Segmented stone sills and sand containment structures were constructed.  Sand was placed behind the structures and planted with native vegetation.  The planting of the shoreline was completed using volunteers from the local Boy Scout troop and members of the community.",
