  "projectDescription": "The goal of this project was to install a fishway at the Wiswall Dam. However,  the US Fish and Wildlife Service and NOAA recommended removal of the entire dam. Removal of the Wiswall dam or construction of a bypass channel will greatly enhance the restoration effort, providing free passage to more than 60,000 anadromous fish each year, and passage for recreational boaters as well.  The new fish ladder was constructed in the winter of 2012.",
