  "projectDescription": "With funding through a national partnership between NOAA's Community-based Restoration Program and Restore America's Estuaries, Tampa Bay Watch planted .15 acres of marsh on Little Bird Key in a previously restored area impacted by red tide in 2005. Little Bird Key is an important Wildlife Refuge for the US Fish and Wildlife Service. The creation of oyster bars and planting of marsh grasses helped stabilize the island and allowed for the expansion of the salt marsh. Approximately 33 volunteers contributed nearly 190 hours toward restoration of this island.",
