  "projectDescription": "Under the direction of Save the Bay and through the support of NOAA's partnership with Restore America's Estuaries, San Francisco Bay area schools, community groups, business and agencies were involved in wetland habitat restoration along Martin Luther King, Jr. shoreline in Oakland, California. Volunteers helped to remove non-native plants along four miles of shoreline in the 70 acre marsh. Volunteers also collected native seed and propagated over 700 plants as well as removed trash and debris from the restoration site.",
