  "projectDescription": "This project involved Eckerd College students, professors, and volunteers in an investigation of the success of three restored mangrove sites by assessing soil, water and plant nitrogen, presence of macroinvertebrates, and plant species diversity.  This project monitored the previous restoration efforts completed to determine successful wetland restoration techniques through a variety of factors that are commonly overlooked preceding restoration efforts.  Information gained through this project was distributed to resource managers through a project report, oral and poster presentations at national and regional conferences, and thesis defense and manuscript completion.",
