  "projectDescription": "Tampa Bay Watch implemented Phase III of the Tampa Bay Stewardship Initiative.  This program hosted a variety of habitat restoration, education and outreach, and marine debris removal activities.  More than 4,000 students and volunteers helped to restore 44 acres of habitat through invasive species removal efforts and native planting events.  The Bay Grasses in Classes marsh nursery program involved 16 schools in harvesting, maintaining, and planting Spartina alterniflora grasses for use in coastal restoration projects.  In addition, two derelict crab trap removal events were hosted, successfully removing more than 30 derelict traps from the marine environment.",
