After laying back a 300-foot section of the eroding bank using heavy equipment, California Conservation Corps crews used a variety of bioengineering techniques to prevent further erosion. Techniques included stabilizing the toe of the project site using \"bio logs\", the installation of willow baffles, and native re-vegetation.",
