  "projectDescription": "The 'Tampa Bay Stewardship Initiative - Phase II', implemented by Tampa Bay Watch, completed several individual projects to help protect, conserve, and restore the natural resources of Tampa Bay.  From the summer of 2005 to the fall of 2006  Tampa Bay Watch completed a seagrass restoration project at several sites across the bay, completed a scallop restoration and monitoring program including the Great Bay Scallop Search, helped to protect the colonial bird nesting islands through several clean-up events, hosted 2 major derelict crab trap removal events, and enhanced their education and monitoring program through equipment acquisition and curriculum development.",
