"projectDescription": "Wildcat Landfill, the OU1 and OU2 RODs were issued on June 29, 1988 and November 28, 1988, respectively. The remedial action for OU1 was done between July 1991 and September 1992. The remedial action for OU2 was done between August 1991 and September 1992. Construction completion was reached on September 30, 1992. The PRPs completed the OU1 and OU2 remedial action on June 18, 1999. The remedial action phase was not completed until June 1999 due to issues with who would maintain long-term responsibility for monitoring and maintenance activities. The NRDA settlement resulted in a project that restored 5.4 acres of tidal marsh habitat by excavating and refilling an existing pond and creating a new pond, both located within Delaware's St. Jones River estuarine system. The 2.7 acre Northwest Pond was excavated and backfilled to an elevation that would allow wetland plants to grow. A new pond (Racetrack Pond) was constructed in an existing area that is tidally influenced to provide at least 2.7 acres of surface water and equivalent habitat value to that being lost in the remediation of the Northwest Pond.",
