  "projectDescription": "The Mid Puget Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group restored a 700-ft side channel of a fish bearing, spring-fed tributary to Newaukum Creek, and 1 acre of riparian habitat. An undersized, lower culvert was removed and another culvert was replaced to provide greater access to the upper section of the tributary and allow water to flow freely.  To reestablish the riparian area around the tributary, native trees and shrubs were planted.",
