  "projectDescription": "This project restored 12 acres of salt marsh on Lieutenant's Island, which is part of the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. The marsh had been degrade due to its use as an informal parking area and roadway.  Restoration included replanting of the salt marsh and dune reconstruction and planting. To prevent future damage to the site, physical barriers and signs were placed to indicate how and where people can cross the dune and marsh to reach the beach.",
