  "projectDescription": "Orrs Creek, a large tributary to the Russian River, has a four-mile reach that is excellent steelhead trout habitat.  Unfortunately, two barriers blocked adult steelhead migration. This project helped improve the quality of habitat below the migration barrier by adding recruiting spawning gravels and gave steelhead the opportunity to access the creek above the barrier. It also increased the canopy through riparian enhancement.",
