  "projectDescription": "The Assateague Coastal Trust was going to continue native oyster restoration activities in the Coastal Bays of Maryland adjacent to site already restored.  This project proposed to utilize a new hatchery source to grow out the seed oysters for planting at the site, in partnership with Gordon Shellfish Company of Pocomoke City.  Following very poor performance of the clamshell substrate planted at the site (as monitored by NOAA RC staff), the applicant decided to terminate the project funding and plans for additional restoration at the site.  Monitoring of past activities in the area continues, with NOAA RC assistance.",
