  "projectDescription": "The Hillsborough County Extension Service's horticulture outreach is focused on the Florida Yards and Neighborhoods (FYN) Program.  This project took the concepts of the FYN program and created the Discovery Garden to provide a demonstration site for landscape design and maintenance practices that lessen the impacts on water quality and the environment.  The site demonstrating various types of pervious surfaces, combined with educational workshops, pamphlets, videos, and garden tours helped to create an educational initiative that reached several thousand participants.",
