  "projectDescription": "The objective of this project was to remove the Goodrich Dam on the Perkiomen Creek, a tributary to the Schuykill River in Pennsylvania.  The dam no longer served a functional purpose, and acted as a migratory fish passage barrier and was a hazard and liability to the community.  The dam was successfully removed in the summer of 2005.  Following the removal of the dam, the creek returned its historic stream channel dimensions and established free flowing conditions after 65 years of fish passage impediment.",
