  "projectDescription": "This project restored 217 acres of coastal pine flatwoods and hammocks within the Terra Ceia Aquatic and Buffer Preserve.  In this area, the majority of coastal uplands had been previously cleared and ditched for agricultural use.  The culmination of these practices left the site dominated by exotic species.  This project  removed the invasive species and then replanted the site with native upland vegetation.  This effort fits into a greater habitat restoration master plan for the Preserve.",
