  "projectDescription": "The Youth Restoration Corps continued their restoration activities on the Russian River by employing 12 local youth from Kenai/Soldotna area schools in a four week program to restore riparian habitat. Just over 1900 lineal feet of riparian habitat on the Russian, Kenai, and Trail Rivers through the NOAA/FAF partnership were restored. This improved salmon spawning and rearing habitats, the project protects native archaeological sites that were being exposed by erosion.",
