  "projectDescription": "The National Aquarium in Baltimore (NAIB) utilized volunteers to re-establish two acres of submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) habitat at an un-vegetated shallow water site adjacent to Langley Air Force Base. An oyster reef was co-located on site to obtain the effects of the two habitats.  Volunteers were involved in all facets of the restoration effort, from collection of the donor plant material, harvesting approximately 10,000 planting units from healthy donor beds on a 1 square meter grid pattern, to SCUBA diving at the restoration site to plant and monitor the transplants.",
