  "projectDescription": "Earthcorps in cooperation with NOAA Fisheries Restoration Center, Magnuson Community Garden, and Seattle Parks Department developed a live stake production facility on the grounds of Magnuson Park, Seattle, Washington.  The 2,400 square foot facility will produce approximately 2,700 cuttings a year for 10-15 years for use in local community-based stream and shoreline erosion control and re-vegetation projects.  10 species were grown, several of which have demonstrated value, but are not commercially available.  The project will provide an ongoing resource for local restoration, educate community members about cost effective re-vegetation methods, and stimulate research and installations that will increase the diversity of species propagated using biotechnical erosion control methods.",
