"projectDescription": "The objective of this project was to restore anadromous fish access to historic spawning habitat in Mill Creek with the successive removal of three dams and two nature-like fishways on Mill Creek, a tributary of the Conestoga River. This comprehensive effort originally was to include the complete removal of Esh Dam and design/feasibility studies for removal and/or fish passage at Stoltzfus dam, Nolte Mill dam, Old Mill Shoppes dam and Ressler Mill dam. Ultimately only the Esh dam was removed during this project period, but additional discussions are underway.",
